New Pattern: Zodiac Rabbit Amigurumi

Zodiac Rabbit front and side

Say hello to the 4th animal of the Chinese Zodiac: the rabbit!

This Zodiac Rabbit has a sweet face, big pointy ears, and a unique and adorable bunny tail. The tail uses the bobble stitch for a fluffy, wooly look! This pattern is fairly easy, so it’s a good introduction to the bobble stitch if you already love amigurumi and just want to try incorporating a new stitch. Here’s a close up of his fluffy bunny tail and twitchy nose:

Crochet him as part of a set of Chinese Zodiac animals, or just as a cute kids’ toy! You can find the pattern for this bunny in my Etsy shop here or on Ravelry here.

In addition to my Zodiac amigurumi patterns, I’ve been hard at work on Christmas projects for my friends and family. I blogged about some gift ideas in my Christmas Crafting post, but I’ve got a few other tricks up my sleeve for my pals who might see the blog. 🙂

The Zodiac Rabbit is part of my ongoing project to publish my Zodiac patterns created in 2012. This marks the 9th pattern in the set–only the tiger, horse, and sheep left to go! The last two I published were the dragon and pig, which you can find in this post. Watch this space for the rest, and look out for a special bundle discount on the whole set once they’re done!
